  nbaoffseason:

  Apparently EA Sports held a contest for fans to come up with catchphrases for the new NBA JAM game. Submissions are over but now it’s your time to vote.

  My personal favs:

  • “Droppin’ a deuce!” (I mean, clearly this should be in the game)
  • “No shoot for you!” (Seinfeld references, instant win)
  • “From Compton!” (perfect for when you’re playing as Brandon Jennings)
  • “Now that’s change I can believe in”
  • “Stimulus package!”
  • “Another victory for the rim”

  I didn’t really get to listen to all of them but they’re all voiced by Tim Kitzrow, the original voice of NBA JAM. Who really, should single-handedly replace Mike Green, Jeff Van Gundy, AND Mark Jackson as ESPN’s play-by-play announcer.

  Oh but REALLY, like really though, I would love it if EA Sports were to pull a Mortal Kombat and have Clyde Frazier’s head pop up from the corner every time you get blocked and go “REEEEEJECTED!”. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, here’s the epic Just For Men commercial.
